I suspected my 5-year old son needed his adenoids removed due to constant post-nasal drip, snoring and nasal-sounding speech. My GP recommended Mr Khemani (as did my brother, who works at East Surrey) so we saw him in his private clinic at Gatwick Park Hospital. The first appointment was excellent - we saw Mr Khemani, who is lovely, then went straight to the audiologist for a hearing test, then an x-ray, then back to Mr Khemani, who explained all the results and answered all of my, and my son's, questions. We tried a nasal spray for six weeks but this didn't make any difference, so at our follow-up appointment Mr Khemani recommended removal of my son's adenoids and also his tonsils (which while not causing major problems were enlarged). He explained the operation in great detail and was very reassuring. An added complication was that my son has a heart condition which a general anaesthetic could provoke. Mr Khemani reassured us that this would not be a problem and that his anaesthetists were able to deal with this. We got the necessary 'permission' from the cardiologist and my son had his adenotonsillectomy at the beginning of April. At every step Mr Khemani was lovely - very calm, caring and reassuring to both my husband and I, and to my son. Femi, the paediatric nurse was brilliant - we met him beforehand, he called us just before the operation to go through everything, was great on the day, and responded very quickly to my texted queries after the operation. My son's recovery from his operation was amazing - he was eating fishfingers and chips just a few hours afterwards. We followed the painkiller-regimen we were given and you would hardly know my son had had surgery - he was dancing and singing the next day! The operation has made such a difference to my son - he no longer snores, he sleeps better and doesn't struggle with post-nasal drip anymore. I rate Mr Khemani very highly indeed and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Thank you.

I visited Mr Khemani following fluid in the middle ear, resulting in extreme nausea, loss of hearing in one ear and dizziness. Mr Khemani prescribed a course of treatment, tested my hearing and checked there were no other sinister findings. His knowledge, professionalism and manner were all exemplary and I now have my hearing back and am fully cured. I can't think of any improvements that could be made in the specialist area that Mr Khemani has or his explanations and manner - all excellent
